David Mille points out that the idea of the directory emerged from this initiative, whose purpose is to put local businesses in contact with consumers. The channel also establishes consumer bonuses from which the first 3,000 users can benefit, who will obtain a discount to use in any of the affiliated businesses. For Mille, it is more of a problem of distribution than of taxation: “What cannot be is that the Canary Islands are left behind in digitalization.” Rental aid Regarding the national decree on rental aid for companies and commerce, Mille indicates that specific measures are missing for the Canary Islands, because on the islands there are no more than 20% of premises rented to large owners. He claims that here it is much easier to reach agreements between landlords and tenants.
